Often some aspects of our customers products contain componentry which cannot be produced using traditional fabrication methods and may requires other additional process such as machining or turning.

JSJ works closely with a sister group engineering company to offer immediate access to both manual and CNC milling and turning machines. This capability allows JSJ to produce high quality parts both accurately and efficiently in a cost-effective manner which wouldn’t be easily achieved using other production methods. If required these machined parts can then be incorporated into a larger fabricated sub-assembly, allowing our customers to add various features to their products.

CNC machining and turning enables components with much tighter dimensionally precise requirements to be manufactured. These components may form part of a larger fabricated structure produced by JSJ or are required as precise standalone parts.  This production method can accommodate both small and large batch sizes depending on our customers individual requirements as well as optimize material usage thus minimizing wastage.

Similar to JSJ’s fabrication capabilities, we can machine a diverse range of materials including not only ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as mild and stainless steel, brass, or aluminium, but also a multitude of engineering plastics such as Acetal or Nylon, as well as various others.
