Often the first stage of the production process is the cutting of any material to the correct size. Here at JSJ we offer a variety of various cutting options including modern guillotines for the shearing of metal sheet, as well as a both vertical and horizontal bandsaws for the processing of metal plate, bar, or tube.

Guillotine and Sheet Metal Shearing:

The major benefit of our guillotines is that they ensure a straight, accurate and consistence cut every time whilst preventing any chips, burrs, or deformity along the edge of the material.

Additionally, the guillotines offer quick set up and require minimal calibration. These features enable production flexibility and support rapid customer response. JSJ regularly processes either small or large volumes of material very quickly and easily, whilst minimizing material waste.

Guillotine Cutting Capabilities:

Metals which can be cut - All ferrous and non-ferrous metals, for example mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and copper.

Max sheet thickness:

• Stainless Steel: 2mm
• Mild Steel: 3mm
• Aluminum, brass, or copper – 6mm                                        
• Max sheet length: 2500mm

Bandsaws for Metal Plate, Bar & Tube:

JSJ also has a selection of both vertical and horizontal bandsaws, allowing the processing of metal tubing, bar and flat in different thicknesses or sizes.

Not only can our bandsaws achieve a curved or radiused cut but like our guillotines, they also ensure consistent precision and accuracy whilst minimizing material loss.
